Every year in Tajikistan on May 23, "Youth Day" is celebrated. In 1992, taking into account the importance and necessity of forming a youth policy, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On State Youth Policy” was adopted, which provides for special attention of the state to the active class of youth society. The adoption of this important document created a legal basis and favorable conditions for the education of a new generation.
Promotion of the state youth policy is one of the priorities of the country's government. The international experience of developed countries shows that youth education plays a significant role in the development of socio-economic spheres, and only this creative force can ensure a sustainable economy. In Tajikistan, the proportion of the population under the age of 35 exceeds 50 percent, which indicates the presence in the country of great intellectual potential and human capital as a powerful engine that contributes to the development of the country's socio-economic spheres.
Through joint efforts, society can help young people choose the right path to life. If fathers and mothers pay more attention to the upbringing and literacy of their children, society as a whole will develop and human potential will be strengthened.
Talented and gifted young people are the pride of a nation, and it is they who have the right to be leaders in the science and culture of their nation and serve as guardians of the legacy for future generations.
In honor of Youth Day, I congratulate all the youth of the republic, worthy heirs of the sovereign people and state, the future generation of our beloved Motherland, and wish each of you good luck, success and prosperity in life.
