On September 8, the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Environmental Protection Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a solemn meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, which was attended by all structural divisions of the Agency.
The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology Qurbonzoda A. H. In his opening speech, he congratulated the entire team on this great holiday. Qurbonzoda A. H. recalling the achievements of the 30 years of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, and noted: - This year, our dear Tajikistan is celebrating an important historical date - the 30th anniversary of its state independence. This date is the most important and the main event in the modern history of the Tajiks. On September 9, 1991 the 12th extraordinary session of the Supreme Council declared the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. This document has completely changed the way of society and the fate of the Tajik people. A thousand years later, the Tajiks regained power. The birth of the new independent state of Tajikistan was greeted by the international community with satisfaction. The tireless work of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon is unique in the revival and development of independent Tajikistan and is a source of pride for every Tajik and Tajikistan.
Then later, the deputy directors of the Agency Baydulloeva J. and Sheralizoda N. Sh. in their speeches told about the development of all economic and social spheres of the country. They also noted that significant progress has been made in the field of hydrometeorology over the 30 years of the country's independence. The network of meteorological observations has undergone significant changes over the past thirty years, the level of meteorological forecasts has increased by 10-15% compared to previous years, stations and hydro posts are gradually being restored. The use of high-speed Internet, to which the Agency for Hydrometeorology is connected, has made it possible to improve the quality, reliability and speed of receiving and transmitting meteorological data.
At the end of the meeting, a number of employees were awarded Certificates of Honor by the Agency's management for their valuable contribution to the implementation of the policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of environmental protection and hydrometeorology. At the same time, 70 Agency employees were awarded one-time assistance (such as flour, butter and sugar) from the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Sheralizod B. A.
