Participants of the work meeting: project implementation unit, leading national consultants and experts.

Objectives of the work meeting:

• Review experts’ draft assessment reports: (i) Section “National circumstances”: description of national and regional development objectives, priorities and circumstances with regard to political, economical and ecological changes for the last years; (ii) Section “Climatic changes”: analysis of climate change in Tajikistan with regard to masl., precipitation changes, etc.; analysis of natural climate-induced disasters, terms of their formation and characteristics of their periodical tendency; analysis of precipitation days change, dynamic of snow supply and their connection to river flows; analysis of atmospheric droughts, their forecast until 2050, etc.
• Making and entering comments, remarks, amendments, etc.;
• Identification of time-frames for preparation of the executive summary, including “National circumstances” and “Climate change”.

Results of the work meeting:

Within the discussion participants, in accordance with the project manager proposal, decided:

• Conducting of internal cross-analysis according to the activity implemented aiming at checking and supplementing of the materials obtained;
• Identification of the group of technical experts responsible for design of thematic graphs, maps, tables, etc. appropriate to the standard required.
