Objectives of the workshop:

The main objective of the workshop was to involve the stakeholders engaged into activities touching climate change problem directly or indirectly, and to discuss GHG Inventory final outcomes; moreover, summary on climate change assessments was thoroughly considered as well as comments encouraged. Proposal on integration of the GHG system into the state statistical and departmental reporting that will, undoubtedly, facilitate GHG Inventory further preparation, was reviewed. Participants, including policy makers and governmental bodies, representatives from international organizations and mass media, were expected to find out the current situation with the GHG Inventory in the republic along with the climatic assessment, and main steps the government stipulates on development of the climate change legislative basis.
