On 9 June 2007 national workshop on climate change and Second National Communication preparation was held in the conference-hall of the Agency on hydrometeorology.

The workshop was aimed at the policy makers, representatives of the head ministries, departments and other organizations, whose activity may considerably contribute to minimization of greenhouse gas emissions and other climate change-related issues.

The main objective of the workshop was to introduce the stakeholders with the major results and outcomes of the Second National Communication on climate change preparation, in particular Greenhouse Gas Inventory – its main sources and sinks in key sectors: Energy, Industry, Agriculture, Waste and Land use, land use change and forestry.
