Automated Communication Centre

Server UniMASACC is engaged in observation data collection directly from the stations and posts/gauges as well as through sectional stations, Communication Network Centre (CNC), relevant hardware-based communication network of AMOS, HMB, HMO, general telegraph network, Agency’s radio communication network, meteoric automated system, Internet communication, etc.

Data from 7 automated meteorological stations, including Fedchenko glacier, Anzob and Shahristan passes, Kalai-Labi-Ob, Dangara, Navabad and Dushanbe equipped by Campbell Scientific Company and 2 hydro gauges – Kyzyl-kishlak and Tartki are received in real-time operation mode to the Automated Communication Centre.

Three hydro gauges, including Dagana, Gushary and Tavildara were automated within the project implemented by the Regional Centre of Hydrology. These stations are equipped with data loggers of OTT and KERN companies which require data by means of GSM modems or satellite phones (h/g Tavildara) through application of automatic (schedule-based), or manual HydroPro software.

UniMAS is set up at the Automated Communication Center head office and three sectional stations, including Kairakum, Kurgan-Tyube and Khorog. UniMAS servers are connected through communication network based on Internet communication network. Head server is connected with the UniMAS server in Tashkent city (Uzbekistan). Information from all stations is received by the server through communication channels automatically or manually. Server, in time definite, compiles automatically necessary newsletters and forwards them to the recipients. Information sent to Tashkent city, is forwarded automatically to the Russian Hydrometeorological Service and further – to the World Meteorological organization (WMO).
