Secondary school № 42 and “Dushanbe” gymnasium of the Republic’s capital presented 300 works of schoolchildren after the completion of the training-program «Climate change». All works were worthy confession and encouragement. The contest consultative commission announced all children, who took part in the drawing contest as the winners.

Children vividly imagine what would occur with life on the earth by regular pressure – if we constantly increase the concentration of greenhouse gases as, being a result of industrial and communal waste and emissions of carbon gases in the transport sector. Response to the problem lies in undertaking of preventive measures – planting trees and herbs, picking the garbage to the special container, spreading the knowledge and raising awareness on climate change problem among contemporaries, relatives and parents.

Children tried to deeply express their ideas not only through drawings but in abstracts, poems and essays touching ecological issues as well:

“People invented cars but did not try to invent how to minimize air pollution. People possess deep knowledge but they do not know what to do with the garbage so that no air, soil or water pollution occurs. And animals, fish and birds are dying out... People do not understand that harming environment, they harm themselves. People cut down forests, damaging the natural cover of the earth. However, they surely aware that it takes many years long to grow a tree. Let’s take care of our Earth, because this is our home. Without this home - we will be lost.”

We should teach our children to love all the livings on the planet, taking a good care for our environment. Trees, flowers, birds and insects need our love and attention. And then they will surely express their gratitude with trees clearing the air, flowers adorning our life, bees providing healing and tasty honey and birds singing beautiful songs for us. A kind man will never harm animals, birds and plants. Therefore, we should be kind, making all the deeds in the name of nature and environment.
