With the order of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Asrori a greater contribution to the promotion of climatological knowledge among the population of Tajikistan and services in the training of the country in the field of meteorology for the years of Independence Baydullaeva Jamola awarded the title “Excellent printing of the Republic of Tajikistan” and awarded a medal in honor of the century print of the republic. The first place went to the Country Action Plan in Green Development in Tajikistan, prepared by a specialist Centre for the Study of climate change and ozone layer Zafar Makhmudov during the passage of “The East-Asian Cooperation Training on Climate Change (EACTCC) for the Development of Green Activism in Developing Countries 2012” and presented at the Green Development Forum, which was held in Seoul, Korea February 14, 2012. * * * * * * * The 17th Conference of the Parties of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is being conducted from 28th of November to 12th of December in Durban, South Africa.
The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli) made a resolution to ratify the Kyoto Protocol of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on the 21th of October, 2008.
The Fifth Meeting of the Project Steering Committee with participation of representatives from the key ministries and departments of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the conference-hall of the Agency on hydrometeorology on 29 February 2008. Members of the PSC and other participants introduced to the project annual progress attained within the reporting period and discussed a number of issues related to the development of scientific aspects and capacity building.
