The message of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon to the people of Tajikistan with the sense of patriotism and piety was delivered on 23 December 2022 in the conference hall of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee of Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan by all structures and subdivisions.
Our great leader expressed his views on environmental protection and the impact of climate change on the planet and noted that on December 14 this year at its 77th session the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a resolution "2025 - International Year of Protection of Glaciers," "March 21 - World Day to Protect Glaciers," which was unanimously adopted by the Republic of Tajikistan. According to this resolution, the "International Trust Fund for the Protection of Glaciers" was established within the UN, and in this context, a high-level UN Conference will be held in Dushanbe in 2025, and it is worth noting that the 5th global initiative of our country on water and climate is implemented on a planetary scale.
In confirmation of the words of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, we have to work with double responsibility to implement the policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of environmental protection and hydrometeorology at a high level. We need to redouble our efforts to implement the actions of the great Leader of the Nation, outlined in this year's Address, and make our native country prosperous and beautiful.
