On July 21 this year, the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted the second meeting of the technical working group on the topic “Ensuring an effective process of the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan for the Republic of Tajikistan” which was attended by representatives of ministries and departments of the country, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the media.
During the meeting, the participants made a presentation on the topics “National Climate Change Adaptation Plan for the Republic of Tajikistan”, “Monitoring and Evaluation”, “Goals and objectives of work in small groups to identify indicators of risks, consequences and measures for adaptation to climate change”, etc.
At the same time, issues of agriculture and water resources, energy and transport, education and health, gender, youth, migration and environmental protection were raised in small groups.
