With an introductory speech, Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology Qurbonzoda A.H. opened the meeting, noting that along with other peoples who fought against fascist tyranny, worthy men and women of Tajikistan also made an effective and worthy contribution to achieving this decent life. Then, in their speeches, other participants expressed their thoughts on the contribution of the participants of the Great Patriotic War. It was noted that from the very beginning of the war, the Tajiks were among the first to go to the front. In total, more than 260 thousand people from our country took direct part in the fierce battles of the war against fascism, showing unparalleled courage and heroism. Their sense of patriotism and their indomitable spirit serve as an example and lesson for us today, as we strengthen the independence of our state and aim to build and prosper our beloved Tajikistan.
