On 3 February 2026, within the framework of activities of the Agency for Hydrometeorology under the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, an administrative training was conducted on the topic “Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Environmental Education of the Population’” (dated 1 October 2025, No. 2194), with broad participation of staff members.
During the training, Mr. N.N. Saifulloev, Deputy Head of the Department of Environmental Monitoring, delivered a presentation and familiarized participants with the content of the law and its main provisions. He emphasized that the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Environmental Education of the Population” is of key importance for enhancing environmental literacy and promoting environmental protection among the population of the republic.
It should be noted that the training provided staff with an opportunity to become acquainted with the requirements and principles of the law. The discussions and questions raised by participants demonstrated that the training is highly valuable for the practical implementation of the law and for increasing environmental awareness.
