The event was organized at the initiative of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with UNESCO, UNDP, and the Global Environment Facility, within the framework of the project “Enhancing the Resilience of Central Asian Countries through Strengthened Cooperation in Assessing Glacio-Nival Systems and Developing Integrated Approaches to Sustainable Development and Climate Change Adaptation.”
