On August 12, 2025, at the initiative of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Representative Office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Global Environment Facility, a training on reporting in the waste management sector was conducted in accordance with the Guidelines of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on climate change) in 2006 with the participation of representatives of relevant ministries and departments, universities and institutes of the country.

On June 24, 2025, on the eve of the celebration of National Unity Day, a new building of the Navobod snow avalanche station was commissioned in the Navobod rural jamoat of Shugnan district.
