The Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan maintains mutually beneficial cooperation with the Department of Meteorology and Climatology of the Faculty of Physics of the National University of Tajikistan. On the basis of joint cooperation, significant results have been achieved in the field of training specialists in the field of hydrometeorology.
It should be noted that on December 6, 2023, Khomidov Anvar Sherinovich, an employee of the Agency for Hydrometeorology, under the guidance of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Professor Normatov Inom Sherovich and consultant of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, leading researcher at the Scientific Laboratory "Rational Environmental Management" of the State Pedagogical University of Russia - A.I. Herzen Frumin Grigory Tevelevich proudly defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Geoecological assessment of the formation of the chemical composition of surface waters and snow in the basin of the transboundary Panj River" at the Russian State Hydrometeorological University (St. Petersburg).

- 2003-2008 - Deputy Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology;
- 2008-2011 - Director of the Hydrometeorology Project Implementation Center at the State institution of the Flood Project Management Center in Khatlon region;
- 2011-2013 -Head of the Department of Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- 2013-2015 - Head of the International Sector of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan;
2015-2016 - National Advisor on Climate Change and its impact on agriculture and water Resources within the framework of projects of the Climate Investment Fund and the Asian Development Bank;
