On December 27, 2023, an extended meeting of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the results of activities in 2023 was held, which was attended by the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan respected Sheralizoda B.A.
Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology A.H. Qurbonzoda made a report on the agenda of the meeting, analyzed and discussed the results of the Agency's structures and their achievements.
Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology Qurbonzoda A.H. gave specific instructions in order to revitalize the works in the field of environmental monitoring, control over the activity of observation networks, correction of shortcomings in the economic direction and mobilization of all resources and opportunities for implementation of the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as instructions of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda B.A. during his speech emphasized the full and timely implementation of state and sectorial programs and strategies, the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan from August 31, 2023, № 407 "On the implementation of the United Nations General Assembly resolution on the "International Year of Glacier Protection".
Decisions were made on the issues on the agenda of the meeting, those responsible for their implementation were identified and obliged.
