On January 31, 2026, a festive event dedicated to the ancient holiday of Sada was held in Abulkasim Firdavsi Park of Culture and Recreation in Dushanbe, with the participation of representatives of government bodies, cultural figures, and youth.
At this cultural and educational event, the management and staff of the Agency for Hydrometeorology under the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan took part with high national spirit and a strong sense of self-awareness.
For demonstration to the participants, a mobile laboratory for monitoring ambient air quality, unmanned aerial equipment (drone) for glacier monitoring and air quality observation, as well as an off-road vehicle for research and expeditionary work were presented. In addition, instruments, equipment, and special clothing for observations of glaciers, snow reserves, and glacial lakes were showcased. Photographs of Tajikistan’s unique nature, monitors used for preparing weather forecasts, and a documentary film about glaciers were also displayed.
