On April 1, 2024, the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting on the implementation of the Strategy “On Countering Terrorism and Extremism" in the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of management and a wide range of employees.
In her opening speech, Deputy Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology Baidulloeva J.A. noted about terrorism and extremism and its impact on society. In particular, it was noted that the Founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, in his speeches emphasizes that “terrorism and extremism”, on the one hand, poses a serious global threat, and on the other hand, his actions indicate that the terrorist has no homeland, nations, religions and at the same time poses a threat to the world community and the life of every inhabitant of the planet.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that in such a difficult and alarming situation in the world community, modern threats and dangers of “terrorism and extremism” force us not to lose our integrity, political consciousness and the application of efforts and knowledge in maintaining peace and unity in our country.
