On November 19, 2022 at the Geology Department of the National University of Tajikistan in accordance with the scientific plan of the event "Twenty years of research and development of natural sciences, exact and mathematical subjects in science and education, 2020-2040" and on the fields of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change – COP-27 in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt, by specialists of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Environmental Protection Committee under the Government of Tajikistan on Glaciers of Tajikistan in a changing climate.

A solemn event was held on November 15, 2022 in the conference hall of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Z. Kiyomzoda, heads of all departments of the Committee and the Agency for Hydrometeorology, representatives from the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, as well as mass media representatives.

On 14 November this year, the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in the margins of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) in Sharm-El-Sheikh (Egypt) held a side event on "Roadmap 2025 - as an international year of protection of glaciers".
