It should be especially noted that in the cultural civilization of peoples, including us – Tajiks, the native language is a subset of national identity and the main factor in its preservation. Our native Tajik language, with a sweet, elegant and poetic sound, a language that has preserved the knowledge and enlightenment accumulated by the people over many millennia, is considered the most striking evidence of existence and its life-affirming status in the historical destiny of our country.

The Interstate Council for Hydrometeorology of the CIS (IHC CIS) was established on February 8, 1992 in accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Hydrometeorology to solve the problems of timely receipt and use of hydrometeorological information that is necessary for forecasting hydrometeorological processes, their impact on the environment, timely informing and warning management bodies and the public. 10 member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States take part in the work of the Council: the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as delegations of the World Meteorological Organization participate as observers in all sessions of the Council.

Dear compatriots! This year on September 9, 2023 our republic celebrates an important historical date - the 32nd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. Due to its significance, it is one of the most important events in the modern history of Tajiks. On September 9, 1991, the 12th extraordinary session of the Supreme Soviet of the Tajik SSR proclaimed the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. This document completely changed the way of society and the fate of the Tajik people. After a thousand years, the Tajiks regained their power. The birth of the new independent state of Tajikistan was greeted with great satisfaction by the international community.
